The showcase will feature the work of local organizations who have been working with our partner Results 1st to identify an initiative and build their capacity to identify, measure, achieve and communicate their results. Our work with the partners focuses on quick, simple but effective adjustments to each program to ensure that their limited resources are being channeled into maximizing results for our community. Through four group workshops and 6-8 individual coaching sessions, each organization strengthens one initiative using these tools. The showcase event is a culmination of that work and a chance for the organizations to show what they’ve learned over the various workshops and coaching sessions in 5 minutes or less and connect to new potential partners and supporters.
The UWS Results Team Program began in 2022 and supported 17 organizations in Hillsborough and Pinellas Counties by providing the space, tools and expertise to focus on achieving greater gains for those they serve. Participants reported measurables such as increased client registration, more effective data collection, and more efficient program designs with a focus on outcomes. Building on the success of this first cohort, in August of 2023 UWS selected six community organizations serving DeSoto County to focus on building scale and capitalizing on the Results 1st methodology to expand their results.
