Four of us for lunch. Short wait but worth it. Meatloaf was excellent and I’m fussy about meatloaf. Dessert took us forever to choose. Many, many excellent choices. Wheeler’s is known for homemade pies and they did not disappoint. Accommodating wait staff.

We stopped at Wheeler’s for breakfast on our way to the Peace River for a canoe trip and fossil hunt. Great breakfast, grits, gravy, omelets, etc. Friendly, fast. It seems to be where the local ranchers, businessmen, and folks all meet. I went back in the afternoon for a piece of their famous” chocolate peanut butter pie. Wow! That is some great pie. Didn’t try the others
