The DeSoto County Historical Society invites you to tour the John Morgan Ingraham House Museum, an example of Florida Cracker vernacular architecture and home to Mr. Ingraham who served in the Florida House of Representatives 1945-1948.

Since 2014, the Museum has been open to the public as a memorial to all early pioneer families with displays of period furniture and furnishings—some of which belonged to the Ingraham family—as well as artifacts about the history of Arcadia and DeSoto County.

This is the last opportunity to visit the Museum as it will be closed during the summer, except for 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Sat., June 22. It will reopen to the public on Thurs., Sept. 5, 2024.

The Museum is located at 300 N. Monroe Ave., Arcadia.
