Violinist Adrian Anantawan to perform musical journey of life and growing up with disability

The DeSoto County Library is excited to have the opportunity to host Adrian Anantawan at the library, Saturday, March 23, at 11 a.m.

Adrian Anantawan holds degrees from the Curtis Institute of Music, Yale University and Harvard Graduate School of Education.

Adrian is also Juno Award nominee, a member of the Terry Fox Hall of Fame, and was awarded a Diamond Jubilee Medal from Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II for his contributions to the Commonwealth.

The workshop will also include an art activity and each family will receive a copy of “My Family Plays Music.”

The program is part of the Performing Arts Foundation’s Artist in Residency Program, sponsored by Jenne K. Britell.
