Christopher Parent, Community Partnership Specialist with Empath Health/Tidewell Hospice serving DeSoto and Charlotte counties, will lead a Personal Legacy Writing Workshop from noon until 1:00 p.m., on Mon., July 15.
The workshop will be held in the McSwain Room of DeSoto Memorial Hospital (DMH), 900 N. Robert Ave., the event is free and open to the public.
At 11:30 a.m., lunch is available for purchase in the DMH cafeteria. At noon, Society Pres. Adrian Cline will introduce Parent.
With a B.A. in Fine Arts from Indiana University, Parent recently became certified as a Laughter Yoga Leader.
He will give a free workbook to each attendee plus tips on how to get started with writing your own personal legacy or to help you encourage others to write theirs.
